Summary It is very important that you backup your files very often. This document will walk you through the steps needed setup a backup job using Microsoft Backup to backup the ShopOrder Plus+ files. If you are using a network version then you only need to backup the files on the server. No data files are contained on the workstations. More Information To create a backup job for ShopOrder Plus+, follow these steps: 1. Click Start, point to Program Files, point to Accessories, point to System Tools and then click on Backup 2. When the Welcome to Microsoft Backup! dialog box appears, click Create a new backup job and click OK. 3. Click on Backup selected files, folders and drives and then click Next. 4. Click on the + next to the drive C item in the list on the left. Scroll down until you see a folder called ShopWin. Click on the box next to it. This will place a check mark in that box telling Microsoft Backup to backup that folder and everything in it. Click Next. 5. Select All selected files and click Next. 6. Select a location to backup the files. If you have a tape drive then select it. If you are backing up to a disk or ZIP drive, select File and in the field below type X:\ShopWin.qiz where X is the drive letter of the drive you are backup up to. Click Next 7. Make sure both check boxes are checked and click Next. 8. Type ShopOrder Plus+ for the backup job name and click Start. The backup job will start now. Click Start, point to Program Files, point to Accessories, point to System Tools and then click on Backup 2. When the Welcome to Microsoft Backup! dialog box appears, click Open an existing backup job and click OK. 3. Select the ShopOrder Plus+ job from the list and click Open. 4. Click Start in the upper right of the screen. This will start the backup. Note
